The most beautiful part of growing and maturing is sifting through the things you want and don’t want. Included in that sphere of decisions lies the opportunity to filter people out who don’t enrich your life. I love realizing that there are so many things I don’t need to put up with. It’s sad and yet liberating to realize that certain people just don’t fit, and that there is nothing wrong with that. Just like trying to wear something that’s too small or eat something you’re allergic to, it’s better to be honest and own up to the fact that certain people just aren’t right for you. Everyone will be much happier in the end.
One day, my name will cover these books and line these walls.

The lord is on my side, no matter how terribly I have behaved these past couple months. Yeah sure I was fired for the first time in my life, but He has not left my side. I really hope that these wonderful things that are happening in my life are real and not going to disappear. I want ASIP to work out so badly, make a difference, find what I want to do with my life. And please let this Cal Grant situation work out. This would mean the world to my sweet little pocket book and take so much stress off my shoulders. I don’t mind working hard, especially when there is a payoff in the end. This feels more like an open prayer than blog post, but I don’t care. Life is all about perspective, and I have chosen to look at the bright side of it all.
